You will work as a Senior Pricing Manager (m/f/d) in our Team Pricing & Analysis which is a team within the Pricing & Yield department. Your team will consist of Pricing Managers and Business Analysts. Scope of your job is the strategic price structure as one of our most important factors of success.
You will work closely together with the Yield Management Team. You are responsible to provide an optimal price strategy and structure of prices. Yield Management uses this price structure to optimize busload and increase the average revenue per seat in daily business.
You and your team are responsible for the overall price structure per Country and AtoB connections
You help to understand the market/ competition and align our price points to best succeed on the market
You continuously challenge price points in place, benchmark existing strategies across all markets and make propositions for improvements
You base your decisions on quantitative analysis and market monitoring and derive conclusions and observations from a variety of sets of data to make informed decisions
You define strategic rules per country that complement the price strategy and optimize our results
Together with Yield Management you come up with proposals for prices for Price Promotions and Ancillaries as well as best timing and yearly planning of price promotions to push demand
You present ideas as well as figures in informative and relevant form
You drive innovation by introducing new ideas, methodologies, and perspectives to our business
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
Degree in Economics, Business and ideally in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics or related field of study
Ideally work experience as business analyst, or similar, with first project management background
Strong analytical mindset: High analytical and conceptional thinking skills as well as a good understanding of numbers
Desirable experiences in Pricing, Revenue Management as work experience or as project topic and Consulting
Good knowledge of MS Office and advanced skills in MS Excel
Excitement when it comes to data and an interest in building and optimizing tools and methods
Personal initiative, resilience as well as a self-driven and goal-oriented working attitude
Fluent in English. German is a plus
