Business Development Manager for the Dutch-speaking market at FlixBus Charter (m/f/d)

We're looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Manager for the Dutch-speaking market at FlixBus Charter (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. As a Sourcing Manager for the Dutch-speaking area, you are responsible for a portfolio of Bus Partners, looking to improve FlixBus Charter's relationship with them, to provide best possible deals to our clients and to utilize idle bus capacities.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • You manage bus partners in specified Dutch-speaking regions and procure the transports of our European customer groups in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg
  • You build strong partnerships with our bus partner companies and act as a competent consultant for them to get them to the next level
  • You organize and oversee the execution of transports in the BeNeLux-region to maintain and improve our customer satisfaction and consolidate our margin
  • You are responsible for a strategical project for the Dutch-speaking market of FlixBus Charter regarding 18-Month plan targets including aligning key stakeholders, creating use cases in collaboration with other Charter teams, as well as defining road maps, steering points and assessment criteria to evaluate the success of the project 
  • You recommend and work on improvements regarding our processes and sourcing approaches to avoid empty bus mileage and idle driver times
  • You take part in strategical workshops and meetings for FlixBus Charter

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • You obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or in a similar field
  • You are interested in the mobility sector and working in a startup environment
  • You already gained relevant working experience in Sourcing, Sales, Business Development, Logistics, Supply Chain or in a related field
  • You have excellent organizational talent as well as an independent and reliable working-style
  • You possess strong communication and analytical skills to develop efficient ways of working with bus partners
  • You are interested in the continual improvement of our processes and tools
  • You have routine working with Microsoft Office application, especially Excel
  • You speak Dutch and English on a fluent level; every further language is a plus
