We're looking for a motivated and driven Team Lead Pricing for FlixBus Charter (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.
As Head of Pricing, you are leading the Charter Pricing team consisting of 4 motivated Pricing Managers and further develop the Charter pricing engine jointly with the pricing tech team. Our instant pricing functionality is and will be a key asset for Charter by providing the backbone for data-driven decision making.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
You are working with your team on long and short-term strategies and business initiatives to improve pricing accuracy
You base your decisions on quantitative analysis and market monitoring as well as benchmark existing strategies
You help to understand the market and competition and align our price points daily and customize prices, contingents, and bus quantities based to reflect demand patterns to best succeed on the market
You build the future road map for Charter pricing concerning machine learning and further automation
You work closely with Sales, Business Development and Operations team to ensure we have the perfect commercial approach
You are responsible for the professional and personal development of your team, take clear ownership of your responsibilities, you lead by example, give motivational and constructive feedback and you like to celebrate successes
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
You gained relevant and extensive work experience in Pricing or Revenue Management, as a Business Analyst or as a consultant
You have gained first leadership experience
You hold an excellent degree in Economics, Business and ideally in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics or related field of study
You bring a strong analytical mindset and excitement when it comes to data and algorithms as well as an interest in building and optimizing tools and methods
You show personal initiative, resilience as well as a self-driven and goal-oriented working attitude
You consider yourself as an excellent communicator with negotiation and lateral leadership skills to keep stakeholders together by involving people and increasing speed if necessary
You are fluent in English, every other language (especially German) is a plus
You possess advanced skills in MS Excel, already worked with power BI and SQL
