To support our ambitious growth, we're looking for a motivated and driven PR & Public Affairs Manager Portugal who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. This position is based in Lisbon.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Reporting to the Managing Director Portugal, you support him and the central Public Affairs and PR team in defining strategy and monthly action plans for Public Affairs and PR activities (External Communications / Press Relations)
  • You build and regularly update press and public stakeholders' databases
  • You cultivate and nurture working relationships with journalists, influencers, associations and other relevant public and political stakeholders
  • You schedule and coordinate events as well as meetings with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • You create press releases on national and regional level and monitor all Portuguese media to prepare monthly media reports
  • You translate and review all contents published/sent in the Portuguese language
  • In collaboration with our Marketing team, you manage our social media presence and contents
  • You work cross-functionally with different departments e.g. Marketing, Business Development and Operations, in- and outside of Portugal

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant, proven work experience in External Communications (press relations) and Public Affairs in Portugal
  • You hold a BA/BS degree, or similar, in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations; a Master's degree is a plus
  • You have relevant, proven (work) experience with travel, tourism and/or startup ecosystem topics in the Portuguese market
  • You have strong journalist/influencer/blogger contacts in Portugal
  • You can multitask, juggling several priorities at the same time
  • You are cool under pressure - you are able to effectively solve crisis situations
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You are used to work in a highly dynamic and international work environment
  • You are creative, committed, take initiative and have a performance driven mindset
  • Native level Portuguese with excellent oral and written communication skills, and highly fluent in English. Spanish is considered a plus
