PR Manager for the CZ/SK market (m/f/d)
We're looking for a motivated and driven PR Manager CZ/SK (m/f/d) in Prague who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. The position is open as maternity leave cover with a temporary contract of 2 years, with starting date 1st April – 3rd May 2021.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
- You develop and implement the PR and PA strategy focused on markets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
- You provide the connection between the local team led by the Managing Director and international Corporate Communication team, and help to build the FlixBus´ brand awareness and perception
- You take full responsibility of press releases and briefings on national and regional level and you are able to represent the company as local Spokesperson (TV interviews etc.)
- You cultivate strong working relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers
- You organize press events, media sessions and interviews for print, TV/radio, new media and others
- You develop valuable relationships on B2B field and with other stakeholders
- You work with a monitoring tool and prepare monthly media reports and KPIs
- You translate/review all contents published/sent in the Czech language
- You work cross-functionally with different departments such as Marketing, Customer Service, Business Development and Operations
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
- Bachelor or Master's degree, or similar, in Business, PR, Communications, Journalism or related fields of study
- 2-6 years of relevant, proven experience in Communications or Public Relations in the Czech Republic: managing media relations, personal connections to journalists, bloggers and/or influencers
- Experience with public speaking and crisis communication is a must
- Relevant (work) experience from the transportation, travel, tourism and/or startup ecosystem field in the Czech market is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly stress resistant in solving crisis situations effectively is required
- You are creative, committed, take initiative and have a performance-driven mindset
- Native level in Czech and fluent in English, Slovak is a plus
