We are looking for a hands-on and growth-oriented (Senior) Manager Local Operations Excellence to join our Global Operations Development team in the HQ and help us to take our operations processes across the globe to the next level. You will be responsible for building strategies and leading projects to support local operations teams in delivering our global product standards.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
You develop and pioneer a vision that will ensure Operations are the engine and core enabler of the rapid growth that is establishing Flix as category leader.
You are the face and champion of Local Operations processes for all global and strategic HQ Operations activities.
You represent the interests of Local Operations teams in discussions and provide a holistic, data-driven perspective on solutions proposed by HQ Teams.
You understand the challenges Local Operations teams experience on an operational, tactical, and strategic level and can create and deliver end-to-end projects to tackle them together with other Business and tech teams.
You support the Operations workstreams of the highest impact projects across Flix.
You support country and regional offices to develop highly functional Operations units on the ground.
You contribute to the development of project planning and steering mechanisms across Flix to ensure alignment and effective decision making between Global and Local operations teams.
You work closely with units across the Operations Department and IT to ensure systems, processes and resources are in place to support local operations.
You are and active member of the Global Operations Development team, tasked with painting and creating a future of a scalable, highly automated Operations platform to enable Flix growth and profitability.
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
You have 2+ years of program or portfolio management experience, ideally leading multifunctional project teams (project managers, quality or excellence managers, tech teams) in high-intensity situations.
You have 5+ years professional experience in Operations, consulting, or IT.
You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously across teams and have a record of completed projects that have delivered significant business value.
Experience delivering process optimization or change management initiatives would be a strong advantage.
You have experience working with international teams in a global organization, ideally in an Operations field.
You are comfortable and have previous experience working with the leadership layer of companies at the highest level.
You have a strong business acumen and analytical mind, with an affiliation for numbers and strong problem-solving skills.
You have a high degree of technical affinity. Previous experience working with IT, would be an advantage.
You believe in the value of teamwork and can constructively challenge others, provide feedback when required and effectively prioritize and support your project team in high-pressure situations.
You have advanced presentation skills and are a strong, confident interpersonal communicator.
You can build relationships and foster trust with a diverse group of people and stakeholders.
You enjoy working on process automation, process optimization and scalable tooling.
You are fluent in English.
