Operations Manager for Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary

We're looking for a motivated and driven Operations Manager Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • You strive for maintaining high safety & quality level and improving customer satisfaction
  • You ensure that the coaches currently operating and coaches newly joining the fleet meet our quality standards
  • You adapt, and optimize our quality and service standards according to the needs of the local market
  • You ensure implementation of quality & safety measures with our Bus Partners in order to improve customer experience and satisfaction
  • You will carry out audits with operators to ensure they follow our safety standards.
  • You coordinate with Traffic Control, internal teams, external teams & agents in the event of delays, incidents or accidents & updates to network
  • You proactively identify risks that can disrupt our operations and find solutions to them.
  • You work closely with the rest of the CZ team in analysing our data and processes. We will constantly be challenging the status quo and strive to improve
  • You will gather feedback from our external stakeholders (operators, stations, agents) and propose improvements based on this.
  • You will support the rollout of new initiatives and product features
  • You are ready for travel to Slovakia & further abroad occasionally for various business reasons (Partner meetings, workshops, quality control of coaches)

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • University degree in fields of Transport, Business Administration or similar
  • At least two years experience in operations
  • Previous experience in transportation industry is considered a plus
  • Necessary entrepreneurial drive to develop our business with us
  • Fluency in Czech or Slovak and English
  • The ability to adequately deal with different stakeholders (business partners, bus drivers, station managers, or regional authorities) with strong communication skills
  • Diplomatic, but a strong personality to represent FlixBus' interests towards key stakeholders and partners
  • Trustworthiness, engagement, flexibility, as well as a hands-on mentality
  • Passenger transportation manager authorzation is considered a plus
