Business Analyst - API Support

We're looking for a motivated and driven Business Analyst - API Support (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

The primary function of this role is to support FLIX API customers in the after-sales support environment. This role will assist clients with integrating FLIX data via API into their own software applications and the FLIX Sales department in retaining API business.

You will be the voice of the API customers within internal teams and assist them in improving the developer experience. You will have the opportunity to work with strategic customers in the world of third party resellers and metasearch engines, such as Omio, SNCF or Wanderu. You will also help the Sales department with identifying business opportunities, in the form of suggestions for API improvements, and data collection for internal use.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • You reproduce issues reported by the FLIX API customers
  • You interact with the internal teams to find workarounds and troubleshoot API consumption
  • You provide suggestions for API improvements of the FLIX public APIs
  • You provide code samples to the FLIX API customers
  • You create small datasets out of the FLIX API for helping the business teams spot opportunities

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language such as Python (preferred), JavaScript, or PHP and the ability to assist with client API customer service requests and implementations
  • Experience in developing API calls and extracting raw data programmatically from APIs
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the desire to troubleshoot
  • A customer success attitude with a desire to help teammates and clients solve challenges
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to build custom-engineered data files directly from FLIX APIs and Snowflake environments
