The UKs intercity coach market is being revolutionised by the launch of Flixbus. We are now looking to expand our strong, dynamic and ambitious team. To support our ambitious growth, we are now looking for an Operations Manager UK. This position will be based in London.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

Operational Insights

  • You will analyse large datasets deriving and presenting insights about our operational performance.
  • You will build reports and monitor the quality of our bus partners.
  • You will prepare plans for our bus partners to deliver great quality and support the implementation of the plans by leveraging customer feedback, data and network performance analysis.
  • You will help to drive the quality of our network through a deep understanding of our data and performance of the services
  • You will identify improvement opportunities in our customer facing product and build business cases for the Product team to prioritise our features
  • You will support in implementing the Flix standards with our Bus partners, both onboard the vehicle and within the driving team
  • You will facilitate the high performance of our Bus Partners through management of their databases and quality case management

Operational Management

  • You will gather, implement and maintain accurate data and information on our internal systems.
  • You ensure the existing network is running well by supporting bus partners with day to day technical and operational assistance
  • You coordinate between internal teams, bus partners and key stakeholders in the event of delays, incidents or accidents and changes to the network
  • You take ownership of your work and report pro-actively on results, project statuses while keeping all relevant stakeholders informed, signaling next steps and following up when needed
  • You will drive the internal processes for onboarding of new bus operators to ensure a great experience.
  • You will support the team in managing partner performance and take ownership of your partner accounts in order to delivery the highest possible quality
  • You will support with and address customer complaints, liaising with Customer Services to improve processes and make the experience better for customers.
  • You will support partner operators in their driver training to make sure they contribute to passenger having a great Flix-experience. Drivers are the face of the brand and a key component in the passenger experience. 

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Driven and enthusiastic in supporting the scaling up of a new business
  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced high-growth environment
  • A proven track record of strong results in a similar data analytical role
  • Accuracy and punctuality in carrying out tasks
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with strict deadlines 
  • You thrive in a fast paced, high pressure & dynamic environment
  • Strong drive, self-motivated, accountable and entrepreneurial
  • You are proactive, motivated, autonomous and have a desire to grow with a business
  • Experienced with Excel, beneficial to have experience using PowerBI and SQL
