We're looking for a motivated and driven Accounting Shared Services Manager in America who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

As Accounting Shared Services Manager (Head of Central Accounting Team (CAT), you will assume leadership and management responsibility for the Team Leads assigned to you and functionally report directly to the Global Accounting Lead (VP Accounting in Munich).

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

 

Development of Services and Serving Team

  • Driving organizational changes and transitions in his or her area of responsibilities while acting as a change agent, build and foster productive relationships to Local Finance organizations.
  • Holding P&L responsibility regarding costs and cost release via utilization of employees of the assigned reporting line.
  • Developing strategies for continuous improvement for her or his reporting line.
  • Proactively supporting Global Accounting and Local Finance function in the area of service innovation.
  • Team building and leadership development of team leads and team members in her area of responsibility.
  • Responsibility for the successful delivery of the service in terms of quality, customer satisfaction and economic success.
  • Delegation, coordination, and constant monitoring of responsibilities and activities within the CAT.
  • Provide regular updates regarding progress and achievement of agreed targets, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate these in a timely

Administration of Mexican HUB

  • Ensuring that the MX HUB as standing alone company complies with all applicable laws and regulations. It includes legal, tax and local compliance topics, excluding Labor and Social Security law.
  • Responsible for maintenance of accurate financial records of Mexican HUB and reporting to the Group and regulatory authorities.
  • Ownership of the HUB’s budget and P&L. All other finance topics related to MX HUB as a company.

 

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance or relevant
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
  • Soft and hard skill required for the role – MS Office, experience with ERP systems, hands on
  • Fluent English, every further language is a plus
  • Accounting qualification, e.g. CPA, ACCA, is desirable.
  • Proven Project Management Skills
  • Previous experience in P&L management
  • Proven experience in Set up and develop a team from scratch
  • Proven experience in process improvements and automation
