We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Internal Auditor (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you support Corporate Internal Audit in improving the company’s profitability and limiting risk factors through recommendations:
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
- Plan, organize and independently conduct financial and operational audits, ad-hoc audits, process, project and internal controls audits at all Flix SE subsidiaries within Europe;
- Perform walkthroughs of end-to-end business processes;
- Independent analysis of business processes, risk assessment and evaluation of controls’ design and operation;
- Evaluation of the functionality, effectiveness and appropriateness of the internal management and control system (ICS);
- Identification and evaluation of risks and existing risk management systems;
- Develop recommendations for improving efficiency and limiting risk potential and monitoring implementation;
- Independent preparation of audit reports with recommended measures as well as presentation and coordination of the results / improvement measures to the auditees and the local management. Performance of follow-up reviews on the implementation of remediation measures;
- Participation in the continuous improvement and further development of audit methods and processes as well as the Group's auditing strategy;
- Support the Group Internal Audit in the development of the global annual audit plan;
- Manage the relationship with auditees in a multicultural working environment across Europe.
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
- Master’s degree in business administration with relevant majors, e.g. accounting and auditing;
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in Internal and/or External Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management and/or Forensics. Big 4 experience is considered an advantage;
- Preferably additional qualification as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA);
- Sound understanding of internal audit standards, international accounting standards (IFRS), internal control systems (ICS/COSO) are a prerequisite;
- Know-how in professional project and process management;
- Business fluent English skills. Knowledge of German is advantageous;
- Strong analytical and IT-skills (MS Office, Oracle);
- Ability to grasp and analyze complex issues in a structured manner, identify problems and present solutions clearly and comprehensibly;
- Excellent oral and written communication and assertiveness skills as well as the ability to work in a team;
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% within Europe.
