We're looking for a motivated and driven General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. Collaborating closely with our F&A teams in our HQ, Bulgaria Knowledge Hub and other entities, you will gain valuable experience and enhance your analytical and organizational skills, while supporting the financial health of Flix and drive continued success and growth on a personal and professional level.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
- Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations;
- Prepares and books monthly journal entries;
- Provides financial/analytical support to various departments;
- Participates in ERP roll-out of new countries;
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements;
- Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation;
- Assist in various areas of financial reporting, month, quarter and year-end close, and/or other daily/monthly accounting processes;
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance;
- Solid knowledge in Accounting and VAT legislation;
- Experience with a month end close process, reconciliations, and recording into an ERP;
- Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input;
- Experience in other areas of accounting (AR/AP/Cash management/Fixed Assets);
- Fluency in English;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing international environment;
- System experience with ERP required, ORACLE Fusion as a plus.
