As an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure accurate financial operations, overseeing daily activities, monthly closings, and IFRS reporting in compliance with Group guidelines, local GAAP, and regulatory standards. The role focuses on accounting and compliance operations and includes managing audits, statutory and local tax reporting.

About the Role

  • Supervise the correctness of postings and assignments in accordance with the Group's guidelines, local GAAP and IFRS. Manage daily finance activities, including monthly closing process including submission of Group IFRS Reporting on monthly, quarterly and, yearly basis
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statement and reports, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Provide detailed analysis of financial performance and variances
  • Handle the year-end closing and audit process. Work closely with auditors to ensure compliance during audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Manage the correctness of statutory, tax (VAT and CIT) and regulatory reporting. Including closely cooperation with our external and internal accounting providers as well as HQ
  • Steer VAT EU reporting and are responsible for TP reporting and WHT management
  • Support the Finance Director Europe East in accounting and reporting responsibilities for the Europe East region

About You

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience and prior experience as an individual contributor
  • Proven accounting experience in a subsidiary of an international group with similar level of responsibility
  • Strong polish GAAP and IFRS knowledge and familiar with reporting under IFRS
  • Thrive in a busy environment with focus on meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work with new ERP and reporting systems, experience with excel
  • Good communication skills and an excellent team player
  • A good command of English and Polish, at minimum B2 level
