We are searching for a Driver Hiring & Training Supervisor to support our Greyhound entity in the U.S.

The Driver Hiring & Training Supervisor plays a critical role in building and sustaining a high-quality driver workforce in the Northeast Region. This position is responsible for close partnership with Greyhound Recruiting in the driver hiring process — from initial application through our Driver Training School, with heavy emphasis on candidate interviewing — providing hands-on support to the driver training department. By partnering closely with Recruiters, Area Driver Managers, and the Regional Training and Safety Manager, this role directly contributes to achieving continuous hiring targets, reducing driver turnover, and fostering an engaged, well-trained driver team. 

This is a full-time, on-site position.

About the Role

Recruitment and Hiring 

  • Conduct on-site driver interviews in New York City and virtual driver interviews across designated hiring locations within the Northeast Region
  • Take partial ownership of regional hiring goals, partnering with Driver Recruiters to maintain momentum throughout the application and qualification process
  • Oversee candidate application and onboarding paperwork and ensure a smooth, timely hiring process, proactively resolving any issues related to training requirements
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System
  • Schedule pre-employment drug screening
  • Communicate approval for training and confirm intent to attend training

Training and Onboarding

  • Support the Regional Training and Safety Manager with driver training scheduling, uploading training files, and scheduling hotels for instructors and trainees.
  • Coordinate scheduling of the 30/60/90-day new hire driver performance review program across the region
  • Support the Driver Training School with administrative tasks, additional projects and initiatives as assigned

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of transportation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in employee hiring
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Northeast region as needed; up to 10% of the year
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background in CDL training programs  a plus
  • Motorcoach driving experience a plus

Annual Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD
