We are looking for a hands-on and delivery-focused Business Analyst – Automation & AI Solutions (m/f/d). This role sits within Process Excellence in Global Accounting and will help establish an embedded Automation & AI delivery capability for the function. You will combine hands-on technical execution with solution-oriented thinking to turn operational Accounting challenges into practical, secure and cost-efficient digital solutions. Working across HQ and our Central Accounting Teams, you will collaborate with our SMEs, Business Analysts and central technology teams to move high-value use cases from problem definition through implementation and adoption.

About the Role
- Deliver automation solutions: Build practical automations and digital solutions using UiPath, n8n, Python, SQL and approved AI technologies, including reliable workflows, integrations and exception handling processes
- Develop applied AI features: Build AI enabled components using approved model services, structured outputs, retrieval and tool calling approaches, ensuring clear business value
- Create data processing solutions: Develop Python and SQL based reconciliations, validations, data processing logic and operational controls
- Design and integrate solutions: Translate business problems into technical delivery plans, select the simplest suitable technology (RPA, workflow orchestration, Python, AI), and integrate enterprise systems via REST APIs, JSON, databases, files and connectors
- Adopt AI assisted development: Use tools like Claude Code to accelerate prototyping, coding, testing and troubleshooting; build rapid MVPs, validate with users and evolve successful prototypes into maintainable solutions; evaluate emerging automation and AI approaches with Tech and Data & AI teams
- Ensure production readiness: Implement enterprise controls including testing, access management, human approvals, error handling, logging, monitoring and audit trails
- Own solution lifecycle: Maintain, troubleshoot and improve delivered solutions, coordinating with platform, security, data and technology teams for deployment, architecture and governance support
About You
- Experience: 5+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation, technical business analysis, solution delivery or a comparable role
- Automation capability: Practical experience with at least one workflow automation or RPA platform; UiPath or n8n experience is particularly relevant
- Coding and data: Strong practical Python and SQL skills for automation, integrations, data processing and lightweight business solutions
- Integration knowledge: Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, databases, files, authentication methods and enterprise connectors
- Applied AI exposure: Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools or building LLM-enabled features, applications or automations
- Delivery mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to move independently from an agreed solution concept into working technical execution
- Education and language: A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, fluent English and willingness to work primarily in Central European business hours
A Strong Advantage:
- AI solution patterns: Familiarity with retrieval, tool calling, agent workflows, MCP or frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph, Mastra, Microsoft Agent Framework and so on
- Enterprise platforms: Experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financial Accounting Hub, Snowflake, Power BI or comparable platforms
- Accounting knowledge: Exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, financial close or other Finance operations
- Production controls: Experience operating automation or AI solutions with monitoring, access management, audit trails and human-in-the-loop controls
- Application building: Experience creating lightweight user interfaces or internal business applications alongside back-end automation
- Technical ecosystem: Exposure to cloud services, CI/CD, containerized applications or enterprise application hosting is beneficial but not required
