Stations & Authorizations Manager (m/f/d)

As a Stations & Authorizations Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and expanding Flix’s station and terminal network in Peru. Working closely with the local Sales Manager and cross-functional teams, you will take ownership of the station strategy, build relationships with key stakeholders, secure access to existing infrastructure, and develop alternative solutions where existing terminals are not available. 

This is a highly hands-on role combining strategic thinking with extensive field work. You will be responsible for turning the station strategy into concrete actions, developing long-lasting relationships across the terminal and transportation industry, and ensuring that our stations provide a safe, attractive, and reliable experience for our passengers.

In parallel, you take ownership of the authorization process and ensure that our applications are submitted correctly and in a timely manner, in accordance with Peruvian legislation. 

About the Role

• Work directly with the Sales Manager to define, structure, and deliver key strategic projects related to stations and infrastructure. 
• Take ownership of Flix’s station and terminal strategy across Peru, translating strategic objectives into concrete actions and results. 
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the bus station, terminal, transportation, and infrastructure industries. 
• Identify and secure access to the best sales and customer points within existing infrastructure across Peru. 
• Develop and implement alternative station strategies in cities where access to existing terminals or infrastructure is limited. 
• Explore opportunities to develop or establish Flix’s own station infrastructure where existing solutions are not available. 
• Continuously evaluate and optimize Flix’s station and terminal strategy based on business needs, customer experience, operational requirements, and market opportunities. 
• Work closely with Operations and Public Affairs teams throughout the application and authorization processes for stations and terminals. 
• Take ownership of the authorization process, ensuring that required permits, documentation, and approvals are managed efficiently and on time. 
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and continuously improve the authorization process as the business scales. 
• Build relationships with municipalities and other relevant authorities to communicate Flix’s objectives and develop support for our operations in Peru. 
• Represent Flix at industry networking events and actively develop a strong network of relevant contacts across the transportation and infrastructure ecosystem. 
• Ensure that stations and terminals provide a safe, attractive, and customer-friendly environment for Flix passengers. 
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure station solutions are aligned with commercial, operational, legal, and customer requirements. 
• Spend significant time in the field, visiting terminals, meeting stakeholders, assessing infrastructure, and developing new opportunities. 

About You

• 5+ years of professional experience in transportation, infrastructure, terminals, stations, concessions, public affairs, commercial development, or a related field. 
• Proven experience working directly with bus terminals, transportation infrastructure, authorizations, or similar physical infrastructure. 
• Experience opening, launching, managing, or developing terminals, stations, or other transportation infrastructure is highly desirable. 
• Strong network of contacts within the transportation, terminal, infrastructure, municipal, or public-sector ecosystem in Peru is a strong advantage. 
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior external stakeholders and develop long-term partnerships. 
• Strong understanding of authorization, permitting, concession, or regulatory processes related to infrastructure and transportation. 
• Ability to take ownership of complex processes involving multiple stakeholders, documents, and approvals, and drive them toward completion. 
• Strategic mindset combined with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to spend significant time in the field. 
• Ability to translate a broader business strategy into concrete plans, actions, and measurable results.
• Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently in an environment where processes and infrastructure may not yet be fully established. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing complex authorization and permitting processes. 
• Fluency in English is a plus but is not a strict requirement.
