Business Development Specialist (m/f/d) - FlixBus

We're looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Specialist/Manager (m/f/d) who will help us shape our presence in Serbia, drive business growth, and have a direct impact on our success. You will be part of our Adriatic team, supporting the development of the Serbian bus market while collaborating closely with international colleagues across Southeast and Central Europe. 

This role is based in Belgrade, Serbia (hybrid model)

About the Role

• Identify, approach, and onboard new bus operators, building long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual success
• Serve as a key contact for bus partners in Serbia, supporting regular business reviews and day-to-day collaboration
• Support commercial and contractual negotiations, helping create sustainable win-win agreements with partner operators
• Analyse business performance, market developments, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Build and maintain relationships with key transportation stakeholders, including bus operators, fleet owners, manufacturers, and industry associations
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen and expand Flix's network and market presence across Serbia
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Network Planning, Pricing, Authorizations, and Finance teams
  

About You

• 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Sales, Consulting, or another customer-facing B2B environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and business performance data
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with operational tasks
• Fluent in Serbian and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel occasionally within and outside of Serbia; valid driver's license is a strong plus
