As an Expansion Architect, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing expansion opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy. You will be responsible for analyzing site feasibility, designing functional layouts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that each new commercial site meets technical, regulatory, and brand requirements. This position requires a balance of architectural expertise, market insight, and project execution skills.
About the Role
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, considering zoning, regulations, technical requirements, and commercial viability.
- Develop architectural proposals and conceptual layouts for new retail or commercial spaces.
- Ensure design and construction plans align with brand standards and operational needs.
- Collaborate with real estate, legal, operations, and construction teams to support the negotiation and acquisition process.
- Prepare presentations and technical documentation for internal review and executive decision-making.
- Coordinate with local authorities, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and permitting processes.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial expansion, preferably in retail, hospitality, or real estate development.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar architectural design tools.
- Solid understanding of local construction regulations and zoning laws.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects across different regions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Fluent in English
