As a Business Development Manager at FlixBus Canada, you will spearhead our growth initiatives across the country. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, secure, and manage partnerships that enhance our network and service offerings. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development, adept at navigating complex negotiations and fostering long-term relationships.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and secure new partnerships with intercity bus operators and other relevant stakeholders to expand FlixBus's presence in Canada.
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual growth and profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions.​
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive strategy execution.​
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and optimize partner performance using data-driven insights, collaborating with internal teams to adjust network strategy and maximize profitability.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a FlixBus ambassador at industry events, conferences, and meetings, enhancing brand visibility and credibility.​

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Experience: 3–5 years in business development, sales, account management, or strategic roles, preferably within the transportation, technology, or consulting sectors.​
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.​
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.​
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is highly advantageous.​
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 25% + ability to be in office 3 days per week
