We are looking for a Legal Manager (m/f/d) to lead the development of our legal framework, support our operations for both French and international teams, in a fast-paced environment.
You will be the legal point of contact for all legal issues with responsibilities including legal research, regulatory monitoring and pre-litigation matters.
For these activities, we are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in B2C law in international environments.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Handle matters related to corporate law, transport law, consumer law, and e-commerce.
  • Structure and organize the legal department, contributing to the development and reinforcement of the company's legal culture.
  • Anticipate and address legal needs and issues relevant to the business.
  • Serve as the main legal point of contact for French and international teams (Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing).
  • Conduct legal research and regulatory monitoring, and analyze legal risks and opportunities, and provide practical legal advice to operational teams.
  • Draft, review, and manage various types of contracts.
  • Manage pre-litigation and litigation processes, in collaboration with external counsel when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement and formalization of internal legal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Manage insurance contracts in coordination with brokers.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Education: Law degree (Master 2 in French business law).
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in a legal department, preferably within a multinational internet or technology company. Proven track record in drafting contracts and managing a variety of legal matters, particularly in corporate law (droit des sociétés), consumer law (droit de la consommation), and e-commerce law.
  • Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Exceptional writing skills are essential.
  • Languages:
    • Full professional proficiency in French (excellent written and verbal skills) and English.
    • Fluency in Portuguese is highly valued.
