
We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Regional Operations Manager (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green
You will be integrated into the French Operations team. You will play a key role within the team as the person responsible for ensuring the quality of service provided to passengers, by taking on the following tasks:
Regional Operations Manager (50% of your job tasks)
- You are responsible for managing all operational topics concerning Flixbus’ bus partners.
- You are also responsible for monitoring and improving all aspects regarding quality and safety.
- You know how to format KPIs and analyze them to provide recommendations aimed at improving quality with coach operator partners.
- You work hand on hand with other teams to build, maintain, and develop long-lasting partnerships with these Bus partners and develop Flix presence in the bus terminals.
- You help onboard our Bus Partners, which includes e.g. training drivers in conduct, communication and our brand image; installation and use of dedicated FlixBus onboard devices; training Bus Partner operations supervisors etc.
- You train, support, and develop the Bus Partners’ drivers and conduct regular inspections of buses to ensure everything meets our quality standards.
- You will take responsibility for an accurate start of each new line and constant improvement of the quality of line operations, especially regarding fleet, drivers and punctuality.
- You help set up new lines with our Bus Partners and new stops, supporting the relationship management with bus stations and infrastructure providers.
- You act as a liaison with various internal teams (Line Planning, Business Development, Bus Stops, Public Relations, Operational Control, support teams in Germany) as well as external stakeholders (coach operators, drivers, journalists, etc.).
- Regular travel expected in France.
Coordination Regional Operation Manager (30% of your job tasks)
- You coordinate the ROMs of the team by providing recommendations, an organizational framework, and best practices through your seniority.
- You act as a liaison with the Team Lead ROM on all operational topics concerning our bus partners (France-Spain scope).
- You act as a liaison with the ROMs regarding the strategy defined by the team manager.
Project Management (20% of your job tasks)
- You will ensure operational excellence and revolutionize the long-distance bus industry by developing and deploying projects related to the travel experience to guarantee the best service for our passengers and drivers.
- You are source of proposals to improve the customer experience.
- You take part in different cross-functional operational projects and support the Global Operations Team in delivering operational excellence across the whole network.
- Occasional travel to the FlixBus headquarters is expected.
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
Experience
- You have at least 6 years of experience in operations or a dynamic daily environment (handling daily incoming requests with long-term projects to develop).
Experience in team coordination is a plus (1 year).
Experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
Analytical Skills
- You know how to analyze reports, draw conclusions, and provide a solution based on that.
- Solid usage of excel (TCD at least)
- Experience in PowerBI/SF is a plus
Language & Soft Skills
- You have a professional level of spoken and written French and English (necessary for daily interactions with other Business Regions and HQ).
- You have a strong team spirit and the ability to motivate stakeholders (internal or external).
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- You are autonomous, resourceful, and organized.
- You can prioritize and organize yourself between incoming daily requests and longer-term tasks.
