Finance Specialist

We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our local team in Mexico, reporting to the Project Lead Finance based in our Mexico City office. This hybrid position combines strategic business partnering and hands-on financial operations with support for supply chain functions.

This role will be responsible for gathering and coordinating financial data analysis, preparing ad-hoc reports to enhance financial performance, building forecasting trends and supporting financial planning (short and long term), focusing on cost optimization and profitability expansion.

This role is critical in helping the organization make informed financial decisions and improve overall financial performance.

About the Role

Business Partnering:

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.

Supply Chain:

• Provide support, analysis and follow-up to all the capital expenses executions ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and other relevant data.

Operational Finance:

• Collaborate with the regional Accounting Hub Team to expedite the monthly reporting and facilitate the quarterly financial reporting.
• Assist in developing the treasury processes.
• Monitor the supplier’s performance and identify points of opportunities.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, or a specialized field in Finance.
• 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
