As a highly skilled PowerBI Developer at Flix with a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and data preparation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as utilizing Alteryx for data blending and transformation.
About the Role
- Develop and implement Power BI solutions to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design user-friendly dashboards
- Utilize Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and transformation to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Integrate diverse data sources (Snowflake, databases, APIs, flat files) to create comprehensive dashboards
- Optimize data models using DAX and Power Query to enhance performance and usability
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance while managing full lifecycle of BI projects
- Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for Power BI and Alteryx workflows, staying updated on industry best practices
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent work experience and/or education
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization (certification preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Alteryx for data preparation and analytics (certification preferred)
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query & data modeling in Power BI
- Experience with Snowflake and SQL related databases for data extraction and manipulation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
