As part of the French Operations team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high-quality passenger experience by managing relationships with bus partners, monitoring service performance, and coordinating new line setups. You’ll lead quality, safety, and training initiatives, support operational excellence through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration, and guide regional team members with best practices and strategic alignment. Additionally, you’ll drive customer experience improvements through project work and help implement global operational standards.

About the role

  • Manage all operational topics related to bus partners, including onboarding, training, and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and punctuality
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to enhance partner performance and service quality
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Line Planning, Business Development) and external stakeholders (e.g., coach operators, infrastructure providers) to ensure seamless operations and strong partnerships
  • Oversee the launch and continuous improvement of new lines and stops, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with FlixBus standards
  • Conduct regular field inspections and support bus partners’ drivers and supervisors to uphold brand image and customer service excellence
  • Act as a senior point of contact and coordinator for Regional Operations Managers (ROMs), offering guidance, sharing best practices, and aligning on strategic direction
  • Lead and support cross-functional operational projects focused on enhancing the passenger and driver experience, contributing to continuous improvement across the network

About you

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations or a dynamic daily environment (handling daily incoming requests with long-term projects to develop)
  • Fluent French (must have), both written and spoken; professional English (necessary for daily interactions with other Business Regions and HQ)
  • Know how to motivate internal and external stakeholders, and how to prioritize and organize yourself between incoming daily requests and longer-term tasks
  • Know how to analyze reports, draw conclusions, and provide solutions based on that
  • Advanced user of Excel (TCD at least), ideally also have experience with PowerBI/SF
  • Act autonomously, resourcefully, and in an organized manner
  • Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
