With our rapid global expansion into new markets, we’re looking for a passionate and visionary Lead of Operations to lead the charge in launching Flix in Peru! In this pivotal role, you’ll develop and inspire a dynamic team dedicated to ramping up our operations and achieving excellence in service.
You’ll have the unique opportunity to build an Operations team to achieve operations excellence, collaborating closely with our HQ in Germany to implement best practices that elevate our performance and customer experience.
About the Role
- Develop and motivate a strong and steadily growing team that is to ramp up our operations for FlixBus in Peru
- Build an Operations hub from the ground up to achieve operation and customer excellence, with the support from our HQ in Germany
- Develop long-lasting relationships with our bus partners
- Responsible for our Operations KPIs and implement processes that deliver on our quality and safety targets
- Responsible for the smooth running of our operations, in alignment with our Traffic Control and Crisis and Incident Management teams
- Identify risks that can disrupt our operations and find solutions to them
- Work closely with the rest of the team in analyzing our data and processes We will constantly be challenging the status quo and strive to improv
- Be a driving force in the launch of FlixBus in Peru, shaping the future of transportation with innovation and enthusiasm
About You
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in transportation, business administration, economics or a related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven track record on project management and running operations for a global player.
- A previous performance of strong results in a similar role in the transport, logistics and/or bus industry
- Capacity to design and implement policies and processes.
- Faculty o juggle multiple tasks and projects with strict deadlines
- Ability to make decisions and act autonomously while escalating when necessary
- You have the skills to adequately deal with different stakeholders (e.g. business partners, bus drivers, station managers, or regional authorities) with high social and negotiation skills
- Readiness for travelling
- Staff planning, coordination and leadership experience is considered is strong plus
- Fluent in English
