We are looking for a motivated Traffic Control Intern (m/f/d) for a period of 6 months to support our European Traffic Control Team.
About the Role
- Monitor daily bus operations: Keep an eye on the current traffic situation and help coordinate any changes in schedules, drivers, or buses
- Support smooth operations: Help prevent issues before they happen and assist in finding quick solutions if something goes wrong (like delays or technical problems)
- Communicate with different teams: Stay in close contact with our drivers, bus partners, and other FlixBus teams to make sure everyone has the right information at the right time
- Assist our passengers: Help inform passengers about delays, route changes, or other updates, and make sure they feel supported throughout their journey
- Work in shifts: Be ready to work in different shifts, 6 am-2 pm or 2 pm-9 pm (2 days off per week) to help keep our service running 24/7
About You
- You are currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport and Traffic Sciences, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus, but not required
- You have strong communication and problem-solving skills - you enjoy helping others and finding practical solutions
- You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- You’re motivated and eager to contribute to creating a great customer experience and supporting the growth of our business
- You work independently and responsibly, while being a reliable team player
- You speak Romanian and English fluently; knowledge of any other European language is an advantage
