At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.

We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Lead to drive growth for Flixbus and Greyhound in North America, working directly with the CEO and in close coordination with global marketing leadership to shape strategy, guide budget decisions, and collaborate across performance, brand, and creative teams to build a strong regional marketing presence.

About the Role

  • Define and evolve long-term positioning for Greyhound and FlixBus, ensuring consistency across customer touchpoints while championing intercity bus travel and sustainable mobility through PR, partnerships, and thought leadership
  • Shift North America marketing from search-first to a balanced, multi-channel approach by identifying and activating growth opportunities across media, social, and strategic partnerships
  • Translate business goals into a data-driven marketing plan, guiding budget allocation across media, digital, social, content, experiential, and CRM channels, while interfacing with HQ on centralized performance marketing
  • Lead end-to-end execution of integrated campaigns, managing external agencies and global centers of excellence to deliver breakthrough creative and media efficiency
  • Own content strategy across key platforms to drive engagement, build brand affinity, and foster vibrant communities around FlixBus and Greyhound
  • Oversee design and deployment of marketing assets—including signage and branded environments—to elevate visibility and customer experience
  • Monitor KPIs, optimize spend, and align closely with Commercial, Operations, and HQ Marketing teams to ensure unified impact and continuous improvement

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or master’s degree preferred
  • Bring 7–10+ years of progressive B2C marketing experience, with senior leadership roles across national or multi-state brands in the U.S. and/or Canada; background in transportation, travel, mobility, or e-commerce is a strong plus
  • Demonstrate proven success in building and revitalizing brands through insight-led, omni-channel marketing strategies
  • Lead with a hands-on approach, balancing strategic vision and tactical execution in fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Manage agencies, complex budgets, and diverse stakeholders with confidence and clarity
  • Build and inspire high-performing teams, with additional experience in social media and event marketing considered a plus
  • Communicate with impact, skilled in influencing, presenting, and advocating for the bus category to external partners and media, backed by strong analytical capabilities and marketing performance expertise

We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences. If you think you could have an impact even though you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply. We want to hear from you!
