We’re looking for a motivated and driven Junior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland) to join our Europe East Team in Warsaw or Tallinn. In this role, you will support the expansion of FlixBus’ presence across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland, working cross-functionally with international teams such as Operations, Network Planning, Authorizations, Analytics, and Finance.
You will make a direct impact on Flix’s growth and success in the region.
About the Role
- Manage cooperation with various existing external partners (bus companies, ferry companies, sales platforms) and ensuring day-to-day operations (sales extention, contract compliance, contract updates)
- Prepare and work with documents and presentations to effectively manage daily goals (competition tracking, monitoring profitability)
- Support the local team in acquisition of new business partners (bus companies, ferry companies, train companies, sales points) within Baltic States
- Ensure effective and timely cooperation between different internal departments
- Apply analytical skills to work with complex datasets, identify growth opportunities and drive optimization (profitability tracking and improving)
- Provide guidance on local business aspects to improve the product offering and increase revenues
- Support the development of FlixBus brand awareness by attending business conferences and participating in travel fairs and events organization
About You
- Degree in Business, Economics or a related field
- Based in Tallinn or Warsaw
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian or Russian. Knowledge of Estonian, Finnish, Latvian or Lithuanian is a plus
- 2+ years of work experience in business development, sales or management consulting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with high motivation to achieve results
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Eagerness to travel frequently to meet business partners and build strong personal relations
