We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Associate to join our growing team in Gurgaon. This is a new position within FlixBus India, offering you the opportunity to be at the forefront of one of India's most exciting mobility growth stories.

In this high-ownership role, you will help expand and strengthen our bus partner network across North and West India, manage key partner relationships, support commercial negotiations, and drive operational excellence across our supply ecosystem. You'll work closely with Operations, Finance, and Network Planning teams to deliver real business impact.

About the role

  • Own and manage relationships with existing bus partners, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and satisfaction.
  • Independently onboard new bus partners — from initial outreach and negotiation through to contract execution and activation.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including cost estimation, pricing discussions, and contract terms.
  • Accelerate supply acquisition across North and West India markets, contributing directly to FlixBus's network expansion goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Network Planning to ensure seamless partner integration and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain CRM records, contracts, settlement workflows, and partner data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Produce regular reporting and business analysis to track partner performance, flag risks, and support data-backed decision-making.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as large fleet partnerships, supply chain monetization, and long-term network planning.
  • Streamline internal processes around CRM usage, settlements, and contracting workflows for greater operational efficiency.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in business development, partner/vendor management, B2B operations, or a closely related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage external stakeholders and close commercial agreements.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with data analysis and building clear, compelling presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent); ability to maintain data hygiene and extract actionable insights.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools and digital workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable using data to guide decisions, manage partner expectations, and track business outcomes.
  • Background in mobility, travel-tech, logistics, OTA, or startup ecosystems is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to dashboarding, reporting tools, or commercial negotiation in a B2B context is preferred.
