To strengthen our team in Estonia, we are looking for a motivated and driven Shop Employee (m/f/d) for our point of sale at the Port Of Tallinn. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your shift, supporting the shop team and ensuring smooth operations.
About the Role
- Providing high-quality service to passengers, including assistance with boarding, transfers, ferry check-in, travel disruptions (e.g. delays), and offering clear travel information in Estonian and English
- Selling FlixBus tickets at the station and online (for example via mobile devices), and entering offline bookings (e.g. TPilet, Matka-Huolto) into the Flix system using external platforms, reports, and Excel
- Managing reservations for operational needs (e.g. ferries, TPilet, Matka-Huolto), including creating bookings in service providers' extranets, adjusting them in case of delays or changes, and communicating with passengers and partners when needed
- Handling the Lost & Found process: registering, matching, and returning lost items; communicating with clients and couriers; managing the portal according to internal procedures
- Managing ferry slot reservations for different markets (e.g. English Channel), including slot allocation, responding to operational changes, and rebooking via extranets, Excel, and email
- Supporting smooth station operations: coordinating with dispatchers and station teams during check-in, assisting drivers with mobile apps and ticket control and helping ensure correct luggage handling and passenger flow
- Conducting on-board inspections to check ticket validity, cleanliness, and presence of required equipment (e.g. phones, printers, seat markings), and helping resolve any issues to meet FlixBus quality and safety standards
- Inspecting bus stops and surrounding infrastructure to ensure timetables, signage, and other elements meet FlixBus standards and coordinating updates, replacements or repairs when needed
About You
- Fluent in Estonian and English, both written and spoken
- Ukranian or Russian language verbal skills is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service, transportation, logistics or administration
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure
- Strong computer literacy, including solid skills in Excel and other digital tools
- Willingness to work according to a shift schedule established with the team, which may include evenings, weekends, or early mornings
