We're looking for a motivated and driven Finance Lead - Peru who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.  

Your Tasks – Paint the world green 

  • This role assumes ownership of all finance topics related to Flix Peru and has a wide range of responsibilities as listed below.  
  • Implement planning and budgeting processes in line with HQ guidance and instructions. Collaborate with local and HQ teams to create annual budgets and monitor performance against financial targets.   
  • Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's financial health, profitability, and performance. Prepare regular reports, including financial statements, cash flow projections, and variance analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to HQ and local management.  
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements and Flix Group policies. Coordinate with external tax compliance providers. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, invoicing and payment. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions by external / internal service providers and adherence to internal controls.  
  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash utilization within the company. Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow, such as efficient accounts payable and receivable management.  
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks faced by the company. Implement an effective internal control environment based on Global Flix internal control guidance and maintain it.  
  • During the initial phase, act as a business partner, offering financial insights for decision-making, assessing local contracts, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and automations.  

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or other related fields of studies  
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role and/or in the fields of Auditing, Accounting and Controlling ideally in a start-up or a high-paced, dynamic environment  
  • Strong understanding of local compliance and regulatory environment and industry specifics  
  • Solid stakeholder management experience and project management skills  
  • Great sense of responsibility and independence, pro-active, detailed and people oriented.  
  • Proficient in working within multiple Finance IT tool environments.  
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills paired with a collaborative mindset.  
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)  
  • Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of any data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.  
  • Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CA preferred.  
  • Fluency in Spanish and English are required.
